Requirements
Online TEFL Course
Our online TEFL course is open for enrollment and completion for anyone who is fluent in English and would like to learn the skills and receive a qualification to Teach English as a Foreign Language.
That being said, it's important to note that different countries and jobs have additional requirements.
If you have a bachelors degree in any subject in any subject and are a native English speaker you'll have countless job opportunities open to you after taking this course.
If you do not, it will likely be more difficult to secure employment so please be aware of that!
Vietnam TEFL Course
1) A Bachelors degree in any subject is required by the Vietnamese government. The degree can be of any major as long as it is a full bachelors degree from an English speaking university / college.
2) Native English speaker with a passport from either the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa.
3) Able to pass a basic health check at a Vietnamese hospital.
4) Able to obtain a clean criminal background check from home country (some exceptions may apply.)
Vietnam Fast Track
1) All requirements of our Vietnam TEFL Course
2) Completed 120 hour or more TEFL certification.
We recommend the Ninja Teacher Academy Online TEFL Course, alternatively a fully classroom based 4 week TEFL course OR an online TEFL certification which will first needed to be vetted due to varying degrees of quality of online training and some certificates not being accepted by the Vietnamese government.
