English Teacher Job Opening
We’re looking for an experienced English teacher for classes with 6 – 12 year old Vietnamese children in Ho Chi Minh City. This is a paid position for a non-profit English program that has the goal of bringing affordable, high-quality English education to learners who would otherwise be unable to access it, and includes some teacher training work with our TEFL course participants.
- Classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5.30pm to 8.30pm
- $23 – $26 per hour net based on experience and qualifications
- Approximately 50 paid hours per month
- Small class sizes of up to 10 students
- A teacher training element to the role (for some of the classes you will be observing and giving feedback to new teachers)
- Central location in Binh Thanh district
- Additional paid work opportunities within the company
Our ideal candidate has:
- 2+ years of ESL teaching experience at YL English centers in Vietnam
- Bachelor’s and initial teaching qualification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
- Further teaching qualifications a plus
- A passion for education and English teaching
