Teacher Trainer Job Opening
Ninja Teacher TEFL Academy is hiring a teacher trainer for our classroom-based TEFL courses in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:
- Approximately 50 – 80 hours of teaching / training / observing per month
- 600 000 – 850 000 dong per hour based on experience and qualifications
- Central location in Ho Chi Minh City (Binh Thanh district)
- Working hours between Monday and Friday
- Training provided by a highly experienced TEFL trainer
You’ll learn from and work closely with our highly qualified and experienced teacher trainer who has a M.Ed in Professional Development For Language Education, Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge DELTA, is a qualified CELTA Tutor and has 17 years of experience as an ESL educator.
This role includes responsibilities, such as:
- Assisting our TEFL course participants with lesson planning during the course
- Observing and giving feedback on TEFL course trainees’ practical teaching
- Teaching ESL classes to young learners to be observed by TEFL trainees
- Conducting training input sessions with our TEFL course trainees as needed
- Supporting our Head Trainer with training related duties
Our ideal candidate:
- Has 3+ years ELT experience with a range of ages
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree and initial teaching qualification (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA)
- Has obtained further relevant qualifications e.g. DELTA, DipTESOL, MA Education etc
- Ideally has some previous teacher training experience
- Has the confidence and aptitude to lead a class of adult TEFL course participants
- Is encouraging and patient with new TEFL trainee teachers
- Is excited about giving people the opportunity to start a new career abroad, instill a passion for teaching in them and help them transition into life in Vietnam
